All ages and abilities are catered for and I teach acoustic and electric guitar. I try to make each lesson as relaxed and relevant to you as possible and aim to teach you in a fun yet informative and effective way. I will travel out to teach you at your own home, but if you prefer, you can travel to me.

My lessons are structured in one of the following ways:

Individually tailored lessons – these are song based and I will combine targeting it to your preferred musical genre but also choose songs which I think will best stretch you as a student and also teach you new skills. Previously students have used this format of lesson to count towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award, but generally most students follow this method as it is a fun way of learning – what’s not to like about having a lesson, going home and then showing off and playing your favourite songs to your friends and family in an evening!

Rock School Grades – these are ideal for students who wish to follow a more formal approach and also earn certificates as they go through the course. These can also be used to make up UCAS points which can count towards points needed for further education.

 If  you do not currently own a guitar or have access to one, I am happy to provide one for the first lesson.

Prices start from £20.00 for a 30 minute lesson or from £25.00 for a home visit, so please contact me for more information.
